Triara Superior Genetics was founded in January of 2007, located in the heart of the Eastern Townships in Quebec. It is comprised of a partnership between Pierre and Haisook Somers and Paul and Jennifer Mastine. This operation is based on the premis of producing superior seed stock and represents a balanced selection protocol oriented around phenotype, performance and pedigree.
Customer satisfaction is our first priority and we guarantee our cattle 100%. Our cow herd has been assembled from cattle selected in eight provinces and 21 US States. 97% of our cattle are from AI or ET matings, from the most elite sires sourced worldwide.
In addition to this, with the extensive use of embryo transfers, over 80% of our cattle are produced from the top 10% of our genetics.
Our multi-breed diversity means that we work with several breeds of cattle all under the same environmental management.
Triara evlauates accross breed comparisons from conception to the end of production and is 100% supervised by the PATBQ, which is a data collection program supervised by the Quebec government.
